A Wish Journal

Wish JournalEvery day I write a page in my Wish Journal, asking for deep self-love and confidence, feeling safe and secure, self-assurance and self-validation.

I’ve found this to be a very powerful disciple that actually works!

Whatever it is you want to create in your life, if you write about it each day in your Wish Journal, it will begin to manifest.

Obviously the first thing you’ll need to do is get yourself a journal. In the image for this post, you can see an example of a journal. It’s small; it’s attractive. There is a picture on the left side of the Eiffel Tower. Perhaps the person who owns this journal wants to manifest a trip to Paris.

There is no exact science to choosing a journal, but I think it works best if it’s something that really “speaks” to you. For my Wish Journal, I tend to prefer ones that are small, hardbound, and have a fun picture or design on the cover.

Depending on my mood and finances, I will occasionally splurge on something expensive and gorgeous, but most often I’ll get some for less than $5 or $10. I’ve even gone to the thrift store from time to time and found a whole handful of journals for 99 cents a piece. Only one of them ended up being a favorite, but the point is that you need an object you can form a relationship with.

If it’s not something you really like or can put your energy into, it won’t be effective. So it doesn’t matter if it’s a 99 cent find at the thrift store or a $35 hand-carved leather-bound journal. All that matters is that it becomes a close friend who holds your wishes dearly.

The next step is to write in it daily. Put the date at the top of the page. Then write one page. Of course, you can write more if you like, but I just discipline myself to write one page each day. That keeps my intention clear in my consciousness.

It’s an easy discipline because it’s so much fun to spend a few minutes each day focusing on what you want most in your life. Give it a try, and watch your Wish blossom like a flower in full summer.
