The Warrior Goddess
Today when I went to draw a card at random to do my daily tarot reading, I pulled the same card I pulled yesterday… the King of Swords. This is one of the things I find interesting about the Tarot. What are the odds of randomly drawing the exact same card twice in a row out of 78 cards?
The Tarot really does speak to us. In fact, it’s not a coincidence when that sort of thing happens.
By the way, if you’re wondering how to use the Tarot, you can use it the way I have been since December 1st. I ask a question, shuffle the cards, then fan them out face down and with my non-dominant hand, I choose one at random.
Today I asked the question, “Who do I need to be, or what do I need to do, to best achieve my goals?”
After pulling the King of Swords, I pulled a second card, the Princess of Swords. A pattern is developing. First the King of Wands, then the Princess of Wands. Then the King of Swords, now the Princess of Swords. Apparently I am supposed to partner with a man who’s older than me in order to achieve my business and financial goals.
This man will be creative and inspired (fire), and very intelligent (air).
Since I asked, “Who should I be in order to best achieve my goals?” I will interpret the card with that in mind. So the card is saying that by being the Princess of Swords I can best achieve my goals.
The Princess of Swords is ruled by the element of air, which represents the mind, intellect, thoughts, communication, learning, and any technology that serves the needs of learning and communicating. Blogging is a perfect example of that.
Another special quality of the Princess of Swords is that she is capable of detaching and remaining dispassionate. This gives her a great advantage over those who have less control over their emotions.
A warrior strategizes, then implements her plan, then reviews the results and re-strategizes.
Another advantage of her razor-sharp mind is that she has more clarity about who she is and what she wants than people who are absorbed with their emotions and sensual needs. Because she knows exactly what she wants, it’s easy to figure out how to get there.
